“I started my journey with the salon in 1986 when I landed a receptionist position at the Brassfields’ Salon in Downtown Seattle. I was very excited to be in the city atmosphere. 

It didn’t take long before the talent there inspired me to attend the Atarashi Beauty School located in the University District. After that, I began my advanced training with the Brassfield brothers. It was there that I truly learned the art of hair. Later, our salon merged with another talented group, and we became HairLounge.

Through the years, I have attended several advanced training academies and classes. I am always trying to keep up to date with the latest styles and trends. I offer a variety of services, specializing in cutting , coloring, and perming, making customer service my priority. Education in this field has helped me grow and build a wonderful clientele.

This is truly a career in which you can have it all. While enjoying the creativity I get through the salon, I also have a great family life with my husband and 2 sons. They sure do keep me on my toes.

Patty is great at everything she does, never one to only go half way. She gives her all, and just ask any of her clients who would rather give up their first born, then Patty as their stylist. Patty has been doing hair for a long time.

Here is an example of Patty’s fortitude I once noticed. She had a client getting married. Patty is already an expert at wedding hair; she is excellent at finishing and styling. I would ask her to do my own wife’s hair if I were getting married.

She studied every new wedding magazine, every possible style, every nuance, all the while asking colleagues’ opinions, new tips and tricks. She began every day practicing on a mannequin, a client or a fellow stylist…until she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt; she could now offer her client the absolute best for her Wedding.

Of course she would never admit to this, a very humble person, the kind we all aspire to be. Patty and her husband Mark, a Fireman (they are a Ken and Barbie look alike) have two fun, busy boys.

She is a color expert whether I have wanted to simply enhance my natural color or drastically change my look all together she consistently gets it right.

Her haircuts are precision perfect and she is a master at hair extensions creating such a natural look I get complements all the time about how lucky I am that my hair grows so fast, ha! This girl does it all and always knows of the latest greatest trends. I cannot recommend Patty enough.
